I dashed off to the nursery today to buy seed packets for flowers. As an afterthought I grabbed my camera...glad I did because, aside from the salesperson, I had the place to myself. Due to lack of planning, I only had my wide-angle lens (my macro would have been a better choice) but that didn't stop me, or the much welcomed spring colors.
Many early spring flowers, like these primroses, were on outdoor tables.
Pink Hydrangeas (I could get these names completely wrong so bear with me)
Sunday nap....quite a good idea it seems.
This nursery has a beautiful supply of garden "sculptures" but I failed to find any flamingoes.
Lots of garden eye candy.
White orchids are among my favorites.
These two almost seemed to pose for a photo.
The good/bad thing about taking photos is that it distracted me from buying anything other than the seeds I had set out for....looking at these makes me wish I had bought one for my desk at school. And although I'm a Gardner, it's true what they say: Take a picture....
