I need to laugh, and when the sun is out
I've got something I can laugh about
~Beatles, Good Day Sunshine
While at the Great Britain expo in Epcot, we sat and listened to a pseudo Beatles group whose singing was plausible, but whose wigs were tragic. This little girl danced by laughing and runny frantically in circles...a dance style I can understand and possibly even mimic (but without the necessary charm she exuded).
I like the way the sunshine created a halo around the little girl's strawberry blonde hair. It seems befitting of her innocence and pure delight in the moment. I certainly do not think that the Disney conglomerate owns the rights to all things "magical" but they have provided a setting in which people focus on imagination and wonder. It would be wonderful if people realize you don't need a corporate mouse (or a fortune) to provide children with opportunities for "magic" everyday...books and nature do quite nicely.
Well, that's my Sunday morning sermon....now I'm going out into the sunshine (despite the freezing temps) and take a few photos of nature. Gotta practice what you preach, you know!
Amen.. ;)

Love that photo. So sweet, pretty and kind of dream-like. I really love your thoughts on everyday magic :) Great sermon!
